Ray McDowell Promoted to Vice President at Cetacea

September 1st, 2012
RayMcDowell As of August 28, 2012, Ray McDowell has been with Cetacea for 25 years.

He has served as National Operations Director, for the last 12 years. The job Ray has done over his 25 years, has been the best, no matter what he was asked to accomplish.

Over his years, with Cetacea, Ray has been involved with almost every aspect of the company's Sales of mobile communication equipment, antennas, and providing the installation and maintenance Services, nationwide, for our customers. Some of this country's largest businesses including FedEx, Qualcomm, IBM, WalMart, Frito Lay have entrusted Ray and Cetacea to manage nationwide tasks. Ray's people skills have helped the company, and our employees, grow into the Cetacea we are today.

Thanks, Ray.

Because of his take charge attitude, Ray is being promoted to the role of Vice President.  Ray will be the second in command of the entire operations of Cetacea, including both the Memphis and Atlanta Service Centers.

His hard work and dedication to Cetacea have earned him this position.  As Vice President, Ray will interface with customers on the front end of a contract and take part in deciding what the budgets will be for the different contracts and projects. Because he is the best at it, Ray will also continue to be the person in charge of the hiring and handling of personnel issues that will come up.

Ray's out going personality will serve him well, as he works with the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis. Cetacea's President, John Fleskes, originally started our involvement with RMH of Memphis 10 years ago when Cetacea provided a WiFi network for the house and grounds. This system allows all the families to access the internet anytime they are staying at Ronald McDonald House. This access allows them to keep up with family, school, friends, and work while away from home. The WiFi system also allows the RMH to move staff around the facilities, without major wiring expenses. We still maintain and upgrade the system as needed today and Ray will be intrumental in keeping up with the RMH's ever-growing needs.

We look forward to the future years of working with Ray, and hope he enjoys his new position.

Congratulations Ray!
