Cetacea Sound, Inc. Completes Wal-Mart Rollout

Cetacea Sound Inc. is proud to announce the completion of one of the most ambitious installation rollouts in the history of mobile data.

Special thanks to Wal-Mart for making this job a real pleasure. Allowing Cetacea’s installation crews to work closely inside their aggressive daily activity Wal-Mart displayed pure professionalism in getting us what was required to get our job done.

Literally every big truck in the Wal-Mart Nationwide Fleet received an on-slot of data and communications systems installations and de-installations. Each system was verified on more than 30 points. Just slightly less than 5,600 installs were performed within a 6-month schedule, without a single injury, without a single damage claim, without a single complaint. 

For the first time, Cetacea’s installation data was collected from each crew to Cetacea’s servers in real-time using our new PDA/3G based system. This new system allowed Wal-Mart to directly monitor installation progress down to the minute giving them a live picture of the action nationwide.

“Every site had nothing but complimentary words for each of you and the work you performed. Many of the sites said you were the very best external crews they have ever had work in their facility.” quotes one Wal-Mart official.

Cetacea’s National Operations Director, Ray McDowell did an excellent job of keeping the schedule and crews in line and keeping the customer satisfied. Ray summed up his crews like this, “These guys are the best. Wal-Mart gave them the tools they needed to excel, and man, did they excel.”
